One day, some landowners on the island of Crete found relics while digging. Excited, they called in a man named Arthur Evans to investigate. He found a whole civilization.
The main city of this new-found civilization was Knossos, the capital city. It had beautiful architecture and it was supremely built.
The gods of these people were nature gods, somewhat like the Celts. They had temples dedicated to these gods.
They traded with the outside world, evidence found in pottery and other goods found in Egypt and other places.
They are famous for their bull jumping, a sport which was their landmark.
They were a great and unknown civilization. It is rumored that Evans did not dig up the whole civilization and that we might still learn more about it. They were eventually taken over by their northern neighbors, the Myceneans.
